Our flagship programme, the BA (Hons) International Business will prepare you to compete for a wide range of job opportunities in UK and internationally. In addition to a strong foundation in business with a global perspective you can develop a distinct area of specialism all of which will allow you to excel in your future business career. The initial years of this programme will provide you with a broad business curriculum including: work-based culture, financial management, international economics, marketing, human resource management and law, from both a UK and international perspective. As the programme progresses there will be a greater emphasis on the international, cultural, sustainable and ethical context.

At every level of the programme students are informed about opportunities to apply for internships with corporate and local business as well as opportunities for voluntary projects and work experience overseas. Our graduates enter work in a wide variety of sectors and industries. Recent graduates have gone on to work for: Iberdrola Group, the parent company of Scottish Power the European Civil Service international finance roles with banks such as Santander international retailing with companies including Marks and Spencer, Aldi and Lidl UK operations of multinational corporations like Mars, BAE Systems and IBM
