Course Description

In today's global environment, employers expect graduates to have an international perspective, to understand how business operates with customers and suppliers around the world, and how they are affected by events in other countries. One of our flagship programmes, the BA (Hons) International Business and Marketing will prepare you to compete for a wide range of job opportunities in UK and internationally. While gaining a broad understanding of business and the society in which it operates, you'll also develop essential leadership, management and communication skills and the global perspective you need to excel in a career in business and marketing. By choosing a joint honours in International Business and Marketing, you’ll gain a solid foundation in business and management and develop a distinct specialism with 50% of your modules related to Marketing - topics such as marketing communications, consumer buying behaviour, marketing design and creativity, brand management and e-marketing. If you wish to specialise in Marketing, you will need to choose BA (Hons) International Business and Marketing on application to GCU via UCAS. At the end of your first year, you’ll have the opportunity to change your area of specialism to Finance, Human Resource Management, Economics or Law or you can choose to study BA (Hons) International Business as a standalone subject.
