A Level Citizenship

Course Description

This interesting A Level takes students through the whole subject of citizenship, from learning about your rights and responsibilities as a citizen and how the country is run, to taking action to bring about a change. By studying citizenship you will have a greater understanding of your role in society and learn how to be a part of the democratic process. When and how will I study? This 2 year programme commences in September at the Eastgate 6th form site. You will be expected to attend College for 4.5 hours per week. You gain an AS Level after successfully completing Year 1, you will be awarded a full A Level after successfully completing Year 2)
