The Master's Degree is construed as a more in-depth scientific education with the goal of qualifying students to carry out independent scientific work. The academic qualification of a Master of Science (M.Sc.) entitles promotion and is accredited as a qualification for the career in the higher service of public administration. The M.Sc. in Civil Engineering has been accredited by the Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency of Hannover (ZevA).
