This course is designed for those persons wishing to pursue a career in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering or manufacturing engineering or to continue with their studies into higher education. You will study a range of topics including: Communications for Engineering Technicians, Mathematics, CAD, Engineering Drawing, Electrical and Electronic Principles, Engineering Materials, Health & Safety in the Engineering workplace, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Principles,Applications & Engineering Processes.

End of Year options: Leave into Craft Apprenticeship with Award of a minimum of 6 units up to a maximum of 9 units towards Diploma in Engineering. Continue into an Extended Diploma in Engineering (E2569) covering three (Aero/Electrical/Mechanical) engineering disciplines. Progress towards Higher Education(University) after completing the 2 year programme to complete Foundation Degree in Engineering. Progress on to Higher Engineering Apprenticeship.
