You will study a range of business related subjects including marketing, human resources, finance, employment law, team leadership, recruitment and selection and information technology. You may also wish to study additional subjects and gain qualifications in areas such as foreign languages, book-keeping and/or team leadership management and employability skills. You will study the Key Skills of Communication, Application of Number, Working with Others, Information Technology, Improve Own Learning and Performance, as part of this course. How will I gain the qualification? Students complete projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. Business role plays, simulations and presentations. No examinations.Students will gain a BTEC Level 3 90 Credit Diploma within the first year.

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diplomas are valued by employers and lead to career opportunities in business specialisms such as Finance, Human Resources, Management or Marketing, as well as other Business related careers such as Sales Management, Retail Management, Local Government, set up your own business, Health Service Management, Accountancy, any other form of Management. Learners may also progress within employment to professional qualifications such as those offered by the Chartered Institutes of Marketing, Management Accountants and Personnel Development. Learners may further progress into higher education degree courses or BTEC Higher National Certificate/Diploma courses in Business or other related subjects.
