The MSc in International Healthcare Management provides students with the opportunity to explore, critically analyse, and evaluate the disciplines of senior management within an international health and social care context. The programme builds on previous knowledge and/or experience in health and social care.

Health and Social Care is a growing industry within this country and globally with the ageing population. Demand for those with qualifications in this area is likely to increase, and being able to market yourself in this sector will become increasingly important. Upon completion of the course candidates are able to apply for jobs in senior management roles within the International Health and Social Care industry. As well as providing the candidate with a working knowledge of leadership within International Health and Social Care they will also be provided with knowledge of financial and service planning within the healthcare environment of the UK and EU. This will effectively enable them to adapt healthcare practices in UK for practical applications within the developed world. Students successfully completing this course may wish to apply to do a PhD. Students who may wish to leave the programme after successfully completing 3 modules will be able to achieve a Post graduate Certificate in International Public Health policy and management. Students who may wish to exit the programme after successfully completing 6 modules and before their dissertation will be eligible for a post graduate Diploma in International Public health policy and management.
