Health and Social Care is a growing industry, both within the UK and globally, largely due to the ageing population. Demand for professionals in this competitive sector is rising and the ability to market yourself is becoming increasingly important. This degree programme is for students who have an interest in the managerial aspects of Health and Social Care as well as an understanding of clients’ and carers’ needs. The course will equip you to deal with the challenges of the ever-changing and complex environment of this sector, at a decision-making level. You will explore theory to better understand the big picture and use critical thinking to apply these concepts in practice. This course is designed by St Patrick's.

This degree will give students an understanding of the issues involved in the delivery of care in a broad range of Health and Social Care sectors and the additional edge of understanding some of the business concepts behind running a Health and Social care service. Alternatively, students successfully completing this course can proceed directly to a postgraduate degree.
