Course Description

Since Judson’s founding in 1838, we’ve given young women opportunities to grow in their faith, communicate more effectively, and read some of the greatest words ever written in their original languages. This tradition continues in our Humanities courses, which lie at the heart of a liberal arts education. Judson’s Humanities Division includes the English, Foreign Language, and Religious Studies Departments. These academic programs provide you with the opportunity to learn a second language in preparation for a career, prepare yourself to be a more effective leader in your church and community, and hone the communication and critical thinking skills necessary for future success wherever you go.
