Course Description

Gain a solid grounding in acting, singing and dancing while developing the skills needed to succeed in a career in the performing arts and professional theatre with our NASDA (National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art) programme. You will gain plenty of practical experience in performance and production work in the disciplines of acting, singing, dancing and theatre studies. This is supported by relevant classroom, studio and masterclass-based teaching and learning in music theory, theatre history, technical theatre skills and research methods. Within the programme there is an emphasis on developing skills in musicianship and spoken voice and dance elements include jazz, tap and ballet. If you have experience and a strong interest in music theatre, acting and dancing you are likely to be successful in this programme; academic research skills are developed through the historical and cultural study of theatre across the three years of the degree.
