The department offers two majors, Biology and Human Biology (see below), as well as a minor in Biology. In addition, the Biology Department coordinates the major in Interdisciplinary Science. Biology majors also choose a concentration for their studies among Cell and Molecular Biology, Ecology/Environmental Science, Bio-Medical (for pre-professional students), Zoology, Bio-Education (for students in middle and secondary education), or General Biology (a personalized program for students with unique interests).
