There are many varied pathways for graduates of this joint degree. There are a number of possible combinations of majors – for example you could study a language that can lead to work with scientists from different countries and cultures, or study media and writing with environmental science or geography, environmental earth science and sociology, and even combine politics or archaeology with marine biology. As a Science-Arts graduate you may pursue careers in management, or as a consultant or technician in a wide range of organisations in the private sector, research and government departments. Graduates can also pursue additional study to teach in schools or in higher education. Alternatively, with further study, you can go on to contribute to higher education and research. Depending on your choices of majors you may be eligible for registration with professional bodies within your chosen fields of study.
