Socio-economics is the area of social science that studies economic change and social development by examining, for example, changes in laws, the physical environment, populations, and the impact of new technology. Our Socio-economics major combines core Bachelor of Arts subjects with study in areas such as ecological economics and natural resource economics. You will learn about economic policy, sustainability and the social impacts of economic policy. In your final year of study you are able to participate in a multidisciplinary project collaborating with other arts and business students. You are able to complete some of your subjects in this major externally (online).
