Typical career sectors include: * Media and publishing * Accountancy, finance and banking * Business, consulting and management * Retail and sales For those going on to postgraduate study, the options are even more extensive including: * Law * Teaching and education * Translating * Interpreting Graduates interested in a career in business, more than half of UK companies say that they would be more likely to hire a candidate with language skills than one without, and that they pay bilingual employees up to 20% more. For two years running (2011 and 2012), Modern Languages graduates from the University of Chester have been ranked first in the employability league tables for the North West.
