Course Description

In today’s highly competitive market, the demand for finance graduates continues to grow. The undergraduate business administration finance specialization uses principles from the fields of accounting, economics and statistics to analyze financial institutions and financial markets. Students will be prepared for career opportunities with domestic and international corporations, financial institutions and governmental and educational organizations. Specific areas of employment might include: • forecasting and analysis • bank management • capital investment analysis • credit analysis • security analysis • working capital management • portfolio management • real estate management. As a business major, you will learn core elements of business, such as accounting, economics, finance, information systems, management and marketing. The finance specialization includes extensive study in: • security investments • capital markets • financial institutions • real estate • corporate finance. Classroom courses are offered to full-time and part-time students during the day and in the evening; many courses are also offered online.
