Students on the mental health nursing degree could spend 15 weeks studying in Finland, Portugal, Cyprus or Germany. There are opportunities within the BN/BM programmes to undertake elective placements in the UK or abroad. Students will need to pay for their own travel and accommodation costs. Once you’ve qualified and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) you could work anywhere in the UK or in some overseas countries. Our graduates find work as mental health nurses in a range of settings from NHS hospitals, private providers, community health centres, to educational, charitable and voluntary providers.
