Course Description

The course, which meets the academic requirements of CEng status, is available to those currently in employment and is ideal if you are seeking to further progress and develop in the profession. With a strong emphasis on work-based learning, the course provides working professionals who cannot commit to full-time study the opportunity to gain a professional qualification. The ability to study in the workplace also ensures that course content is directly relevant to you and your employers. Whilst you may be comfortable carrying out all your studies in the workplace, you will also have access to all the same facilities available to full-time students on the University’s Treforest Campus. Completion of this course confers the academic requirements to satisfy the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competencies (UK-SPEC). This postgraduate degree is part of the Engineering Council’s Engineering Gateways initiative.
