The BA (Hons) Communication Design with Integrated Foundation includes one year of studies at the foundation level and is designed for those who do not meet the requirements for direct entry to the BA (Hons) Communication Design. Design professionals increasingly work across boundaries between industries. The knowledge you gain from a foundation year will open your mind to working across different areas of fashion and design. It will also enable you to work more effectively with others, both as a student and in industry. The programme provides a broad-based introduction, where you can explore and develop your understanding of the creative industries, fashion design, fashion marketing, interior design and visual communication. This programme was formerly named BA (Hons) Visual Communication with Integrated Foundation.

The foundation will prepare you for entry to higher education, ensuring you possess the necessary knowledge, values and skills needed to progress onto degree-level study.
