This is an American degree, four years in length (see the 'structure' tab for more information). The European Studies major explores the distinctive character and culture of Europe in three areas: European history and politics Commerce and communications European arts and expression This is a multi-disciplinary programme that will encourage you to relate and integrate the different strands of the degree to gain an overview of the nature of Europe. The course is aimed at students with international interests and awareness, who are seeking to become global citizens. Proficiency in one of the major Western European languages (French, German, Italian or Spanish) is required.
