The Degree Programme in Economics and Commerce has the objective of preparing student with a solid background in the four areas of Economics, Management Science and Business Administration, Applied Laws, Applied Mathematics. The aim is twofold: either to form experts, managers, technicians in the field of Economics, Management and Business, or to allow the student to continue their studies in any of the second cycle degree programmes of the Department of Economics and Management.

Graduates of the First Cycle Degree Programme in Economics and Commerce are expected to: - be able to understand the behaviour of economic system, markets, public and private organizations, by means of competences in economics, management, applied laws, applied mathematics and statistics; - be able to analyze and to study problems in economics and management; - be able to participate to the management of public and private organizations; - have the knowledge for professional activities in the fields of economics, management and finance.
