DISCIPLINE OF ENTERTAINMENT AND COMMUNICATION

Course Description

The main aim of the First Degree Course is to prepare graduate scholars able to move in the field of Media and Communication with an exhaustive preparation in the humanities, with historical and critical consciousness and with updated methodological approaches and skill in the different branches of knowledge. It will be possible to choose between two courses: one more focused on Communication, the other more focused on Visual and Performing Arts. Both courses share common basis of knowledge with a philosophical, psychological, pedagogical, aesthetic and ethical orientation and with classes concerning arts and media, visual and audiovisual languages, theatre and music, also with courses more definitely professionalizing, with a workshop approach.

Career outcomes

The course is divided into two classes. The class L-3 Disciplines of visual arts, music, entertainment and fashion designed to provide advanced skills and knowledge to: working within the organization of communication and cultural industries; television and the mass media; entertainment in its various aspects, from product concept to its realization. And the class L-20, Communication Sciences designed to provide advanced skills and knowledge to work within the public and private organizations, national and international, as: communication officers and relations with the public; experts of multimedia; professionals in publishing companies and advertising agencies.
