BSc (Hons) Equine Management

Course Description

This honours degree course, which features a 20-week work placement in year two, has been developed to produce graduates who are equipped to take advantage of the exciting opportunities available in the expanding UK equine industry. Enhanced by our impressive knowledge base and extensive industry contacts, this course instils the scientific and entrepreneurial skills required to develop products and businesses within a broadening market place. After a generic year one, you will be able to tailor your learning to reflect a business or science emphasis, whilst gaining relevant vocational skills and industry contacts during your employment placement in the second year. Year three provides the opportunity to choose four ‘elective’ modules from an extensive suite and an honours project topic, making this a truly flexible study option.
