The 4 -Year B A (Hons) in PD offers a program with emphasis on development of product design professionals with competency to perform effectively for the rapidly changing and an extremely dynamic interiors and retail products industry. The students will exhibit competency in design and development of product collections for the interiors and retail products industry. Their ability would extend from concept development from inspiration to 3D realization, integrating market, consumer, and technical requirements, trends and influence application and production feasibility. The students would be able to communicate their design digitally and with hand skills. They would demonstrate design expertise along with contextual business and commercial understanding.The program will provide a graduate learning pathway in distinct levels of subject complexity and differentiated areas of specialization to a diverse background of students to learn in-depth – Lighting and luminary design Interior accessories & objects d’art Kitchen ware Bath ware Products for hospitality industry Eco-friendly and sustainable product design

Careers The graduate of this programme will be employed as a product designer / interior products designer / design merchandiser at the entry level in the domestic/international / export industry and NGO in interior products / retail / manufacturing industry. They could also become Design Entrepreneurs and consultants. The successful graduate of this programme may avail of the Academy’s placement services .
