Business Administration - Finance is a two-year diploma program in which students learn about the elements of sound financial management while gaining practical, hands-on experience in finance. All Business Administration students take a common first year that provides a grounding in basic business skills and an overview of career possibilities related to the JR Shaw School of Business (JRSSB) programs. Prospective students must apply to Business Administration - Year 1.

Graduates pursue careers in a broad range of financial enterprises, providing personalized service to their clients. The Finance diploma is an excellent point of entry into the BBA degree or the Bachelor of Applied Business Administration - Finance. The close relationship between this program and career paths in financial institutions supports rapid upward mobility for successful graduates. Employment can be found with banks, treasury branches, trust companies, credit unions, investment dealers and mutual fund companies. Expanding opportunities also exist in the field of personal financial planning and consulting.
