Ever had a great thought that would make money? Well, our Level 3 BTEC Diploma will help you develop your ideas and ultimately create the bible of business – a business plan. You’ll need to know all the component parts including market research, financial modelling and pitching to investors. You’ll also learn loads about yourself and develop your entrepreneurial mind-set. This is a new programme from the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy, run by Highbury’s Centre for Entrepreneurship. It will enable you to develop your confidence, motivation and enterprise skills such as managing money, marketing and presentation at the same time as pursuing something that you’re interested in. After you complete your programme at Highbury, employers will know that you have a sound understanding of how business works, the ability to think creatively and work as part of a team. Employers will also know that you are motivated and well prepared for the workplace. This programme is for students interested in enterprise, starting a business and developing a range of skills for a successful working life.

What can be achieved after the programme? Employment – your enterprising mind-set and experience of real work will give you an advantage. Alternatively you could start your own business. You could also progress to a foundation degree or university.
