The BA (Hons) Acting & World Theatre with Integrated Foundation includes a year of studies at foundation level and is designed to prepare you for direct entry on to the BA (Hons) Acting & World Theatredegree programme. The foundation year is a highly practical programme for those who wish to gain the core physical, vocal and communication skills of the actor. The course enables students who are interested in theatre, but have limited practical experience, to explore and develop their potential as performers. In addition to intensive practical scene study, you will learn about the social and cultural contexts of the theatre experience, and gain practical experience of the London theatre scene. Degree-level study offers training in acting techniques from a range of global theatre cultures, combining an active mix of theory and practice. A term spent studying abroad will enable you to savour theatre and performance cultures outside the UK.
