The Bachelor of Arts and Sciences is a unique interdisciplinary degree designed for students who excel in both the arts and sciences,and enjoy examining issues from a variety of perspectives. Courses in the integrated core will challenge you to consider contemporary and historical topics from science,arts and social science perspectives.These core courses are complemented by two minors of your choice - one science and one arts or social science.

In your third year,you will choose one of two options to investigate the ways in which cultural,social and scientific endeavours meet to solve real world problems.The first option involves the study of both historical and current case studies,while the second option requires the completion of a volunteer placement at a local agency. Either way, you'll develop skills that have practical application in the work place - including the ability to find unique solutions to complex problems.
