This major examines human activity in relation to contemporary issues of economic and community development and natural resource use and management. You'll gain the technical skills for effective collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of information in courses such as cartographic methods, statistical methods, air-photo interpretation, and geographical information systems (GIS).
