Join the Rigging scaffolding or rope access industries in NZ or overseas. Exciting “hands on” careers are available in these industries. Riggers, scaffolders and rope access workers build and maintain some of NZs (or the worlds) tallest buildings and structures and set up heavy plant in major industries. Work on off-shore drilling rigs, movie sets, and projects from major cities to isolated wind farms, cell phone towers and large industrial or construction sites. There are great employment options for you in the height access industries. During this programme you will have a chance to spend time in industry working on varied rigging and scaffolding projects. While on work experience it is your chance to prove your worth to the industry. Students are encouraged to find their own work experience on their own however tutors can assist with this if required.
