Our Economics programme is designed to provide the essential knowledge, understanding and skills required for you to have a successful career. High-level employability and research skills are the cornerstone of this course, as well as the ability to analyse economic information through theoretical and practical research-based modules and gain analytical and numerical skills. With a combination of professional development and placement experience and an organisation-based research project, you will be equipped to progress to employment or further study. ​ STAGE 2 is school-based and seeks to provide the basic skills necessary for you to function as a teacher. STAGE 3 is school-based (in a different school to Stage 2) where your skills will be refined and your ability to transfer competence from one school to another will be tested. School-Based Training (Stages 2 and 3) Leeds Trinity University has partnerships with schools across the West Yorkshire region (Leeds, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield) and further afield. Placements are negotiated with schools and trainees so that they take account of the personal circumstances of trainees.
