This one-year Welding Techniques program provides students with the fundamental learning experiences in the welding trade. Students perform welding and metal cutting operations using gas, shielded metal arc welding, metal arc welding, metal inert gas, tungsten inert gas and plasma welding skills.

Graduates of this one-year program will be prepared to enter the following occupations: welder, welder fitter trainee, apprentice welder, apprentice boilermaker, apprentice construction millwright, apprentice ironworker, apprentice industrial mechanic/millwright, apprentice pipe fitter, apprentice fitter, apprentice steamfitter, and apprentice sheet metal worker.
