Course Description

Managers should have the ability to control a group of people and lead them to achieve a common goal. Exciting managerial career opportunities exist in the constantly evolving business world. This course focuses on developing the management skills relevant to a number of real-life work situations and the core skills required to manage and oversee the work of others. The Diploma of Management will provide graduates with the skills to perform managerial functions including strategic planning, setting objectives, risk management, developing efficient operations, managing the market, developing information systems and understanding human resources. A key component of ASBM is that all students will undertake 140 industry work placement hours in a business enterprise as part of this course.
