This is a one year programme studied full-time, and a two year programme if studied part time. Work experience is not a required part of the Top Up programme, and students are currently studying this course on two consecutive days. There are two routes through the Top Up in Equine Management that apply to both full and part time study. If you achieve a Merit (55 percent and above) in either your foundation degree or your HND qualification, you can study the Top up with Honours, this is known as the BSc (Hons) Equine Management. This route involves completion of a dissertation. Alternatively, if you pass your foundation degree or your HND (40 to 54 percent overall) then you can study the Ordinary route, this is known as the BSc Equine Management. This route is exactly the same as the Honours route, but without the completion of a dissertation.
