The Animal Management unit in York is extensive and well stocked with a variety of species from mammals and reptiles, to temperates, tropicals, birds and fish. On site we also have a specialist Veterinary Nursing Centre, College Farms and Equine Centre providing excellent practical facilities. Students who choose to study in Wakefield will split their time between Wakefield College campus and the Animal Management unit at York, ensuring they get to benefit from the excellent range of facilities we offer. The animal collection at our Guisborough Centre is housed in the Dave Cooper Animal unit which provides a wide range of animals housed in an excellent modern facility. The Scarborough centre is based at Scarborough Sixth Form College where a large variety of animals are housed in a new, purpose built Animal Management Centre. The Bradford centre has its own animal collection but students studying here can also make the most of the other animal units across the colleges.
