The Master of Applied Information Technology enables students to undertake an extended programme of study, combining coursework with research, in order to prepare for further study or obtain a more senior position in their field of Information Technology. The Master of Applied Information Technology requires 180 credits, and has two pathways: one involving a 45 credit research project and the other involving a 90 credit thesis. Students who want to take more level 8 electives will take the first pathway, whereas those wanting to undertake more substantial research will take the second pathway.
