Advanced Diploma in Transportation Design Intakes: January, April, July and October Duration: 2 Years (Full-time) COURSE OVERVIEW This programme provides the creative and technical skills necessary to meet the unique requirements of the transportation design industry. This industry requires designers who embody a convergence of function, style and the inherent dynamics of mobility products. The programme focuses on conceptual investigation, critical thinking and a hands-on approach towards technological skills, manufacturing and materials, product analysis and design management. ASSESSMENT METHODS All modules will be assessed through a combination of assessments, tests, class participation and written examinations. To be awarded the Advanced Diploma, students will need to achieve a passing mark of 50% for all modules. For Degree and Master programmes, students will need to achieve the passing grade stipulated by the University for all modules. TEACHING AND LEARNING It is essential that a student is subjected to a broad range of views and experiences in order that the learning process may elicit, sometimes over a prolonged period, appropriate routes for a person to take, particularly in the latter stages of the Programme.
