If English language is new for you, this course will help you learn English language communication skills for living and studying in New Zealand. This programme is 18 weeks full-time study. Programme Content The Certificate in ESOL First Steps (Level 1) (Introductory) will introduce you to the four English language skills - reading, writing, listening and speaking. You will learn English for use in everyday situations specific to New Zealand. You will also be introduced to multi-media and ICT skills.

The Certificate in ESOL First Steps (Level 1) (Introductory) offers the necessary language proficiency for entry into further ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) programmes.
