This is the entry to all electrical trade qualifications. It provides you with the fundamental knowledge of the principles of electricity, magnetism, mathematics and mechanics and the application of these to various work practices including testing, soldering and wiring installations, safety and first aid, and employment rights and responsibilities. Programme Content Computer-based training is utilised alongside tutor lead learning. You’ll gain the basic skills necessary to get you into the Electrical industry through practical application in modern workshops and laboratories. You’ll also have round the clock computer access in Wintec’s impressive Student Hub. This programme runs over four days per week and you’re encouraged to gain on-job work experience on the fifth weekday.
