Course Description

Electrical engineers design, develop and operate devices, systems and practices that require in-depth knowledge of electrical and related phenomena. Electrical engineering has played a big role in practically all modern inventions. Early examples include the development of the transistor and integrated circuits. More recent inventions include the evolution of the computer and the realization of the space age — satellite communications, electro-optics, medical devices and the exploration of Earth and the universe. Electrical engineers have led an industrial/technological revolution that has improved the quality of life throughout the world.
