BA(Archaeology and History)

Course Description

This course combines the study of historical texts with the investigation of past material culture. Carrying out archaeological fieldwork will give you a broad understanding of the early history of Europe and a deeper insight into significant historical issues. At level one, you'll study archaeological and historical evidence and its relevance to the study of late prehistory and history. Levels two and three allow you to develop your understanding and specialise in the aspects of archaeology and history that interest you most.
