Ba(Archaeology and Slavonic Studies)

Course Description

Studying a modern language alongside archaeology gives you a greater insight into the historical and cultural development of a Slavonic country. You'll also develop specific and highly valuable language skills. You'll spend the third year of this four-year degree in Russia, Poland or the Czech Republic. At level one, you'll study archaeological and textual evidence, and be introduced to Slavonic language and society. Other modules will deepen your understanding of archaeological knowledge generation, develop your language skills and extend your knowledge of Slavonic history and culture.
