Studying French alongside archaeology gives you a greater insight into the historical and cultural development of a French-speaking country. You'll also develop specific and highly valuable language skills. You'll spend the third year of this four-year degree abroad. At level one, you'll study archaeological and textual evidence, and be introduced to French language and society. Other modules will deepen your understanding of archaeological knowledge generation, develop your language skills and extend your knowledge of French history and culture.
