This program prepares students to work in a variety of children's services such as day care, primary schools, out of school hours care, occasional care coordinator, holiday programs and play centres. This qualification covers workers who are responsible for developing and evaluating the program. Workers at this level are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and history and to work with local communities in the provision of services. Embedded within this program is the Certificate III in Children's Services.

Group Leader in a Long Day Care Centre, Occasional Care Centre, or Outside School Hours Care Centre, Family Day Co-ordinator, Family Day Carer, Assistant in a Kindergarten or Community Preschool, Primary Teacher Aide.
