It may be possible to study this subject on a part-time basis. This course aims to encourage students to develop their interest and enjoyment in literary studies through reading widely, independently and critically, as well as introducing them to the traditions of English Literature. The subject is acknowledged and respected by employers and colleges alike. It combines well with a huge range of other advanced studies as it develops empathy, creativity, communication, debate and individual thought. It is also a forum for exchanging ideas.
