The course has a total of seven units which include: graphic design, photography, interactive media, drawing, contextual studies and a final major project. The first two terms deal with basic skills and assignments in the specialist areas and also include creative screen printing and sketchbook development sessions. The final term gives the learners the opportunity to undertake a major project of their choice. The course is aimed those who enjoy creative subjects and wish to start a career in graphic design, photography or interactive media.

You can continue on to a BTEC National Diploma or A level in an art-related field. Although a competitive industry there are job opportunities in the photographic/art/design world.
