Aerospace Engineering BSc(Hons)

Course Description

This course combines theory with practical applications. You gain: a thorough technical understanding of the subject; high-quality engineering skills; and an awareness of business and management issues. Subjects such as maths, engineering science and structural mechanics provide you with a theoretical background. Engineering design and applications modules give you the necessary practical skills. You also study specialist topics in aerospace engineering, including: aerodynamics; aircraft structures; propulsion; maintenance; and logistics. You have access to cutting-edge equipment, such as: rapid prototyping software; and satellite global positioning systems. Aerospace Engineering BSc(Hons) is a 3 year full time course. Aerospace Engineering BSc(Hons) including sandwich year is a 4 year course.
