Accounting & Finance BSc(Hons) with business experience

Course Description

What this course offers you An accelerated degree plus an integrated business experience, plus professional body exemptions. This is within the same timescale, and for the same fee, as the traditional three-year undergraduate degrees offered by many other universities. A well-developed understanding of financial reporting and corporate financial decision making. You will gain vocational skills in an area with high employment and earning potential, and IT skills are integrated throughout the course. Optional modules in Year 3 enable you to tailor your degree to your interests and career goals. This course is run by Kingston Business School – one of the leading providers of management and business education with a long-established international reputation. The services of a dedicated business experience office are offered to all students. During Year 1, you are required to submit a CV, which is assessed and critiqued by employability specialists. In addition, a dedicated employability co-ordinator provides drop-in and scheduled events to support you in the preparation of CVs, applications and interviews. You are assigned a personal tutor for the duration of your degree. Your personal tutor is advised of the assessments for each module on your course. This enables your tutor to identify and discuss areas of strength and weakness in your skills and knowledge set. Personal tutors remain with you throughout your studies: feedback received and discussed in Year 1 will feed forward into the subsequent years. This enables your tutor to direct you to appropriate sources of support, guidance and development.
