As part of the framework, students need to complete the following: 1. L3 Diploma for Children and Young People's Workforce (combines knowledge and competence elements) 2. CWDC Induction Standards workbook 3. Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care of Children & Young People's Settings 4. Paediatric First Aid Award 5. Functional Skills in English and Maths (depending on the Learner's skills and/or previous qualifications).

Employment as a Nursery Officer, Nanny, Nursery Supervisor, Manager or Teaching Assistant. It can also lead to a Foundation Degree Course in Early Years or a HND in Childhood Studies.
