This modern course offers a range of learning activities to inspire learners. Professionally qualified and practising lecturers foster a supportive and creative approach to independent learning. Learners will attend a three-day residential trip for team building and to meet a variety of criteria on a number of units. Learners will have the opportunity to use a variety of specialist equipment, e.g. an aging suit, wheelchairs, blindfolds and ear plugs, etc, in order to broaden their awareness and understanding. The course requires 300 hours of work experience in a variety of placements. This element provides an outstanding opportunity that is recognised and valued by universities and employers.
