These courses provide an ideal introduction to land-based industries and as they share common units, we can offer some flexibility for learners who are unable to make the difficult choice of specialising in a particular subject at this stage. The Level 1 Diploma is equivalent to 2 GCSEs grade D–G and is made up of a number of units which provide you with both practical and theory-based sessions. In some cases it may be possible to mix and match specialist units from other introductory vocational routes.
